Keep Sandgate Beautiful Association Inc. (KSBA) is a not-for-profit community group for residents of the 4017 Postcode area - Sandgate, Shorncliffe, Brighton, Deagon, Bracken Ridge.

Formed on 4th May 1971 it remains politically unaligned while keeping good relationships with Local, State and Federal Members. The KSBA Leadership Team meets on the 4th. Monday of each month at 7:30pm at the Sandgate Community Centre, 153 Rainbow Street.

AIMS
The following is drawn from the KSBA constitution.

For Sandgate and surrounding areas:
  •  To enhance the natural beauty.
  •  To promote the conservation of the natural environment.
  •  To foster balanced development.
  •  To encourage community interest and involvement.

MAJOR CAMPAIGNS
​KSBA Members have been behind a number of local campaigns aimed at preserving our local environment.  

We chose to create a new organisation dedicated to each campaign:
  • Olympic Village proposal for Boondall Wetlands (circa 1983)
  • Pine Waters canal estate for Tinchi Tamba (circa 1988)
  • Shopping complex proposal for Third Lagoon (circa 1990)
